Nac Nac (freestyle trick)

The Nac Nac is a freestyle motocross trick where the rider swings one leg over the back of the bike in mid-air and remounts before landing.

The Nac Nac is a classic freestyle motocross (FMX) trick made famous in the 1990s by Jeremy McGrath. In the air, the rider swings one leg over the rear of the bike so both legs are on the same side, often kicking the outer leg back, then returns to the seat and pegs before touching down.

Variations include the Heart Attack, Cliffhanger and many combinations, but the Nac Nac is often one of the first “off the bike” tricks riders learn after the whip.

It needs a consistent jump with plenty of air time, a bike with predictable suspension and grab points, and a lot of practice on foam pits or airbags first. It is purely a show trick and has no use in racing.
