Bagger

A bagger is a cruiser or touring bike with hard saddlebags and usually a fairing, built for long-distance comfort.

A bagger is a cruiser-style touring motorcycle fitted with hard saddlebags, usually with a front fairing or batwing and often a sound system. The name comes from the bags. Typical examples are the Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide or the Indian Chieftain.

Unlike a full dresser, a bagger usually has no top box, so it looks lower and longer. Baggers are heavy, with large V-twin engines, and are built for comfort on long tarmac rides rather than agility.

Many owners customise baggers with a larger front wheel, lowered suspension and special paint. Remember that lowering reduces ground clearance and suspension travel, and that luggage weight changes handling; adjust the rear preload for the load you carry.
