Dragon Back

A dragon back is a motocross obstacle of several small jumps in a row, like a spine, that skilled riders skim or jump in one go.

A dragon back is a section of motocross or supercross track with a series of small, closely spaced humps, a bit like the spiky back of a dragon. It is similar to a whoop section but usually with steeper, more jump-like bumps.

Riders choose between rolling or jumping each hump one at a time and taking them in combinations, for example jumping from the first to the third. The fastest line depends on speed, gearing and suspension setup.

Learn it slowly: stand up, keep your weight centred, use steady throttle and look ahead to the next landing rather than at the bump directly in front of you.
