Aftermarket Parts

Aftermarket parts are made by companies other than the motorcycle manufacturer (OEM), often as cheaper or upgraded replacements.

Aftermarket parts and accessories are made by third-party companies rather than the motorcycle's original manufacturer (OEM). They range from direct replacements such as filters, brake pads and chains to upgrades like exhausts, suspension and luggage.

Good aftermarket parts can match or exceed original quality at a lower price, and they are often the only option for older models. Quality varies, so choose known brands and check that the part is listed for your exact model and year.

Some changes, such as exhausts, lighting or anything affecting noise and emissions, must carry an E-mark or other approval to stay road-legal. Keep receipts and approval documents in case of an inspection.
