Handlebar risers

Handlebar risers raise and sometimes move the bars back, improving riding position seated or standing on the pegs.

Handlebar risers are spacers or blocks fitted between the top yoke and the bar clamps. They lift the handlebar, and some designs also move it forwards or back. This is one of the simplest ergonomic upgrades.

On adventure and enduro bikes, risers make standing on the pegs more comfortable for taller riders. On road bikes they can take weight off the wrists or bring the bars closer for a shorter rider.

Before fitting, check that cables, brake lines and wiring are long enough at full steering lock, and that the bars do not touch the tank or screen. Use the correct bolt length and tighten to the specified torque.
