Carburettor repair kit BGM ORIGINAL Dellorto PHBL24, PHBL25, PHBH 28, PHBH 30

BGM PRO carburettor revision sets contain high-quality spare parts to restore an existing carburettor to its factory condition.

The set contains, besides the gaskets, the very important float needle.

TIP: For a perfect sealing surface, refurbish the float needle seat (usually made of brass) with a cotton swab (Q-tip) and some chrome polish. This is important to remove possible residues, which are often found on carburettors that have been standing longer.

The basic setting of the mixture screw is usually between 1½ and 2½ revolutions. To do this, turn the mixture screw gently to the stop and then turn it out again by the above-mentioned value. The mixture screw determines how rich or lean the mixture is in the lower to middle range. An engine running too rich stutters (four-stroke) and does not reach speed properly. An engine that is tuned too lean will only reluctantly accept the throttle and tends to die off when suddenly accelerating. If the main jet and the choke function are ok, as a first measure the carburettor should be overhauled with a revision kit like the one offered here. After the basic adjustment the scooter should then have a stable idle and a good throttle response.
