Malossi reinforced counter torque pressure spring, perfect for tuned engines. Counter pressure springs keep the drive belt under tension, preventing slippage and providing increased drive. Ideal for tuned engines if belt slippage is an issue.

Unfortunately, Malossi does not provide any indication of the percentage change compared with the OEM spring on Maxi scooters. However, Malossi specifies the spring stiffness (K) and the spring length. Thus, the springs can at least be compared with each other. In principle, the following applies to Maxiscooters:
1. green springs are softer than the OEM spring
2. all other springs are stiffer than the OEM spring
3. the higher the (K) value, the stiffer the spring
4. at the same (K) value, the longer spring is stiffer
