The Polini Maxi Hi-Speed is one of the strongest-built variomatics available for maxi-scooters. Special attention has been given to the design of the roller ways, which better utilise the engine´s power band than the original variomatic. This means the gear ratio changes at a torque related to a more favourable RPM range. This results in better acceleration and a higher top speed.

The Polini variomatic also demonstrates notable manufacturing quality and reliability. Sealed slide bearings, together with cleanly manufactured bearing bushes, considerably reduce friction and resistance to dirt during sliding motion. Result: perfect shifting and long service life due to reduced wear.

Included: complete variomatic with one set of 10g variomatic rollers (19x17mm), variator spacers, sliders and a 7% stiffer counter-pressure spring. An instruction manual is also included
