The Polini Maxi Hi-Speed variator is one of the strongest variators in the maxi-scooter range. The roller-track design utilises the engine’s existing power band more efficiently than the original variator. This means the ratio changes more favourably in the lower rev range. The result is greater acceleration and slightly higher top-end speed. These Polini variators are also impressive in terms of build quality and reliability. A sealed slide bearing with a finely manufactured bushing significantly reduces friction and dirt accumulation during sliding movement.
