What does Polini Hi-Speed do for Peugeot engines?

The Polini Hi-Speed is more than a spare part: it is an upgrade. Thanks to newly calculated roller tracks, it uses the engine's RPM range more efficiently than the original variator. This eliminates the typical "dead spot" when starting and ensures constant pulling power on hills. It is robust enough for daily use but delivers "Sport" performance.

⚠️ Important Fitment Check:
This kit fits ONLY Peugeot engines with horizontal cylinder (Liegend).
It does NOT fit Speedfight 1 & 2 (vertical cylinder) and does NOT fit Injection models (TSDI / Injection).

Do I need special tools for installation?
Yes, to loosen the variator nut, you need a holding tool for Peugeot engines or an impact wrench. A piston stopper is not recommended.
Does this kit fit the Speedfight 2?
No. The Speedfight 1 and 2 have a "vertical" cylinder. This kit is developed for the newer engine generation ("horizontal") starting from Speedfight 3.
Do I need to change the torque spring?
No. With this "Hi-Speed" kit for Peugeot, the tuning is chosen to work perfectly with the original torque spring. Replacement is not necessary for 50cc and 70cc sport cylinders.
