Apollo guarantees that these cables are at least as good as your original cables. These cables offer low stretch and excellent durability. Most people only replace their throttle cable after it breaks or loses tension. This is extremely risky, as it can damage the gearbox or make riding very dangerous. We recommend checking cable tension regularly and replacing the cables at least once per season. This cable is made of stainless steel and covered with a black vinyl outer sheath. It also has an inner sheath covering the wire, providing cable movement with minimal resistance for an immediate response from the controls. Warning: all throttle and clutch cables must be lubricated before first use. Please also ensure that the cable is installed correctly to achieve the proper length and that it does not get caught, so the wire can move freely inside the sheath.
