Analog solenoid speed limiter with automatic reactivation
Basic function:
With these analog overspeed governors, 6 different capacitors can be switched and combined using a "mouse piano". This results in 63 different throttle stages for coarse adjustment. In addition, fine adjustment can be made via a continuously variable rotary potentiometer.
This is a major advantage over other speed limiters, which often only contain 1 or 4 capacitors. This can lead to unclean running of the engine and misfiring, as the important fine gradation is missing.
As soon as the ignition of the scooter is switched on, the limitation is automatically activated. Depending on the model, the DZB is deactivated via push button / magnetic sensor + brake (double check), brake lever code (6-digit freely programmable), radio remote control or toggle switch. When the machine is restarted, all models except the version with toggle switch reactivate automatically.
The "mouse piano" and setting potentiometer are protected from dust and water inside. The cover is easy to remove for adjustment.
Compatibility:
The analog rev limiters work with almost all common scooters and mopeds with 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
The limiters do not work with direct-injection engines and machines with electronic immobilizers. The limiter is also only compatible with engines according to Euro3 standard and older.
The recommended lowest throttle speed is 35 km/h and a maximum reduction in top speed of 30%. In addition, you should choose a digital KMH limiter with an additional wheel sensor.
