Rust converter spray PRESTO 150ml

Presto rust converter spray – rust conversion and priming for painting in one step. This epoxy resin based rust fixing system works by converting the rust layer into a metallic-organic iron compound. This compact, black protecting layer serves as a primer and base for subsequent permanent painting. Very suitable for cleaning up older scooters and other vehicles of any kind. Properties: anti-corrosion, reliable rust protection whereby rust is converted into an insoluble, black, organic iron compound. This iron compound is stabilised by a special epoxy resin, ensuring that the iron is protected from external agents. Air drying. Perfect film creation. Very good wicking ability. Simply spray on to the area to be treated. Compatible with all common putties, fillers and topcoats. A compatibility test is recommended if using 2-pack paint. Very good solvent resistance. Heavy metal and inorganic acid free, and doesn`t smell unpleasant. Chemical data: base: epoxy resin. Colour: amber coloured. Odour: solvent odour. Coverage: depending on colour and condition of surface, 150ml will suffice for 1.6 square meters. Drying times (20°C, RH 50%): touch dry: after c. 1 hour, recoatable/ paintable: after a minimum of 6 hours air drying. Drying times are dependent on prevailing conditions and thickness of coat.
