Rectifier/regulator 101 OCTANE 12V

The rectifier/regulator changes the AC voltage generated in the alternator into the DC voltage of 12V used in the vehicle electrical system and keeps the voltage within a certain tolerance range. This charges the battery and ensures that, for example, light bulbs do not burn out.
As this component is exposed to very high temperatures, it often breaks down.
If the rectifier/regulator is defective, the battery is constantly flat, the ignition system no longer works in certain ignition systems, light bulbs burn out continuously or the headlights flicker.
