Rear slick tire PMT 120/80/12 rain

Everyone who takes part in racing knows that the tires used are of crucial importance.
The fact that it is not only the tread, but above all the rubber compound suited to the weather conditions, track and vehicle, is something every newcomer to the racing world notices when experienced racers literally ride past their ears. The enormous difference in tire performance is immediately apparent to anyone who has ever tried the legendary PMT tires.
The Italian company PMT (Pauselli Modell Tyres), active since 1990, was previously involved only in the remote-controlled car and mini-motorbike sector, which is very popular in Italy.
With their entry into the scooter sector, they immediately secured a leading position among the favorite tires of top racers. PMT tires are available in compounds perfectly suited to different ground, weather and temperature conditions.
Slick, compound: hard
The hard-compound slick is ideal for tracks with high asphalt temperatures and intensive use due to numerous high-speed curves and braking maneuvers. The hard compound is the most abrasion-resistant and can therefore be used very effectively in endurance/long-distance races. The warm-up phase to the optimum operating temperature (~ 80° C) is significantly longer with this compound than with the "medium" or "soft" compound.
The recommended air pressure is 1.2-1.3 bar at the front and 1.4-1.9 bar at the rear.
Slick, compound: medium
The medium compound bridges the gap between the hard and the soft compound, which offers extremely good grip but also wears quickly. The medium compound therefore covers a very wide range of applications. Its optimum operating temperature is approximately 75°C and, like the hard compound, it requires a longer break-in time than the soft compound to reach operating temperature.
The recommended air pressure is 1.2 to 1.3 bar at the front and 1.4 to 1.9 bar at the rear.
Slick, compound: soft
The PMT soft compound offers full grip even at low temperatures. It therefore wears quickly at higher temperatures and no longer offers full grip. On the other hand, it reaches its optimum operating temperature of 70°C very quickly.
The recommended air pressure is 1.2 to 1.3 bar at the front and 1.4 to 1.9 bar at the rear.
Slick, Rain
With the Rain Slick, PMT offers a new interpretation of an intermediate tire. Based on the rubber compound of a pure rain tire, an intermediate tire with a smooth tread has been created. Ideal for changing weather with an equal proportion of wet and dry sections.
The recommended inflation pressure is 1.2 to 1.3 bar at the front and 1.4 to 1.9 bar at the rear.
