Optimal tuning of your PWK carburetor to the engine requires the appropriate jetting.
When operating at their best, PWK carburetors generally run too rich in the lower rev range, which harms acceleration. This can be corrected with a smaller jet, but the mixture may then become too lean in the upper rev range. The PWK Powerjet System balances this out. It allows a smaller jet to be used for optimal low-end pull and injects additional fuel from ¾ throttle onward to balance the lean mixture at full throttle. For perfect results, various 101 Octane Powerjet jets are available.
If you choose not to use the Powerjet option, you should install the “zero” jet. This makes the Powerjet system redundant.
