100% synthetic, fuel-saving engine oil based on ester technology. This lubricant is specially developed for high-performance motorcycles (including sport, street, touring, off-road, enduro and trial motorcycles), with or without an integrated gearbox, requiring an API SN lubricant. It is suitable for vehicles and engines with wet or dry clutches, designed to operate with low-viscosity oil and equipped with an exhaust after-treatment system (catalytic converter, air injection into the exhaust pipe). This ester-technology product is enhanced with a low-traction-coefficient ester to minimize internal friction losses and improve performance. The synergy of esters, anti-wear additives and improved shear strength enhances gear protection and service life. The lubricant’s phosphorus and sulfur content ensures better operating conditions for the catalytic converter. It provides the most effective friction level to ensure clutch engagement in three riding conditions: starting, acceleration and steady speed. API SM is fully compatible with the earlier API SL standard and all previous API standards. Recommended for certain DUCATI, KTM and BMW engines requiring SAE 10W-50 viscosity oil.
