Important: motorcycles and quads are not approved for use on public roads. They must be used exclusively on suitable closed and private grounds. Children’s vehicles are not simple toys but motorized machines involving inherent motorsport risks. Minors under 14 are not permitted to purchase or rent unapproved vehicles and may use them only as part of activities organized by approved sports associations. The maximum speed of this type of vehicle on public roads is 24km/h; therefore, use on public roads is prohibited. Users under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

For safety, wear an approved safety helmet, motocross-style goggles, suitable gloves, elbow and knee guards, and a chest protector. Long sleeves, long trousers and high-top footwear covering the ankle are also recommended. Keep shoelaces tied and away from the wheels, engine and drive system.

After purchase, you must declare the vehicle to the Ministry of the Interior within 15 days of purchase. This can be done through the online declaration at: https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/R20458. Once the declaration is completed, you will receive an identification number to be engraved on the chassis and displayed on a visible plate.
