Highway Pegs

Highway pegs are extra footrests mounted forward on crash bars so the rider can stretch their legs on long rides.

Highway pegs are additional footrests fitted further forward than the standard pegs, usually clamped to the engine guards or crash bars. They let the rider stretch their legs and change position on long motorway or touring stretches, easing stiff knees and hips.

They are popular on cruisers, touring bikes and adventure bikes. Folding designs and adjustable mounts help them fit different leg lengths and tuck away when not in use.

Remember that with feet on highway pegs you cannot reach the rear brake or gear lever, so use them only on open roads with good visibility. Check that they do not reduce ground clearance or touch down in corners.
