Can Can (Stunt)

A can can is a freestyle motocross trick where the rider swings one leg over the seat to the other side mid-air and back before landing.

The can can is a classic freestyle motocross (FMX) trick. While the bike is in the air, the rider takes one foot off the footpeg and swings that leg over the seat or tank to the opposite side of the bike, then brings it back to the peg before landing.

Variations include the one-handed can can, the double can can (both legs to one side) and the nac nac, where the leg is swung backwards over the rear of the bike. These tricks need large, well-built ramps and a lot of jumping experience.

Freestyle tricks should only be practised in a proper facility with safe landings, full protective gear and, ideally, coaching. Many riders learn the leg movement first on small jumps or a foam pit.
