With this adapter, the large Schmitt STT43021 petrol tank, which is suitable for Simson Habicht, Sperber or SR4, can be mounted on a Simson S50, S51 or S70 with the original frame. The adapter is a moulded rubber part that simply fits over the original mounting points on the Simson frame. By sliding on the Schmitt STT43021 tank, a secure and damped connection is created between the frame and the tank. This Schmitt rubber adapter holds the petrol tank securely in position and ensures an optimum distance from the steering head and front fork legs.
