Engine YX 150cc V3 KLX type

The YX 150cc 2-valve engine equipped with its KLX-type cylinder head is the most widely used engine in racing! Looking for power? You will get it!

Major difference compared with the 149cc YX engine: the 150cc has a KLX cylinder head instead of a CRF cylinder head, reinforced engine cases, a piston with a larger bore (60mm instead of 56mm on a 149cc YX), and much larger valves. The engine delivers tremendous power at low RPM.

You can also upgrade this engine to 4 valves by optionally using the YX 4S cylinder head. Our team recommends using Racing parts if you want to upgrade your engine for competition. It produces 15 HP as standard, without preparation! You can add parts such as a Volt exhaust or a Mikuni VM24 carburetor to gain even more horsepower.
