When using the electric starter, we recommend not accelerating at the same time, as this may create kickback that will affect the starter chain and eventually cause it to break. If the engine is cold or difficult to start, operate the choke on your carburetor and, if this is not sufficient, tighten the idle screw by a quarter turn. When you are ready to ride, remove the choke and loosen the idle screw by a quarter turn.
