The enormously high strength of the base material (up to 1100N/mm2, HRC 58-62) provides a reassuringly safe basis for the production of BGM sprockets.

The characteristic features of BGM sprockets are their black finish and the practical marking indicating the number of teeth on the sprocket and which primary gear it is suitable for. The 24-tooth sprocket provides a longer reduction and changes the transmission ratio for higher top speed by simply replacing the sprocket. The 22-tooth sprocket, on the other hand, can be used to shorten the reduction ratio, ideal for city or speed-oriented setups.
