Polini clutch disc set including steel friction discs and clutch springs. The friction linings are made of special cork material, which has always been the best material for clutch linings. Unfortunately, this is rarely used today.
This set can be used as a high-performance spare part for tuned engines. However, it can also be installed in standard engines if a new clutch is required due to wear and tear.
Polini recommends immersing the cork discs in oil overnight before assembly to allow the friction linings to soak up oil. This improves the break-in behavior of the new pads. The oil should be the same as that used in the engine/gearbox.
