The Schmitt flat-slide V.2 Racing carburettor in the Gunmetal Edition is particularly suitable for tuning projects with increased displacement. The CNC-machined intake and popular Powerjet function provide better airflow and thus improved engine response. The Powerjet feature supports performance at full throttle.

With the numerous main and idle jets, carburettor needles and other accessories available for PWK carburettors, all options are available for precise tuning. An underestimated feature is the adjustment of the mixing tube, which affects, for example, the correction air / brake air with the slide fully open at both low and high speeds. The fuel / air ratio should remain constant at all engine speeds. Without correction air, the amount of fuel would increase faster than the amount of air as speed increased while the slide was fully open. The result would be an overly rich mixture at high speeds.

The carburettor has a manual choke.
