In this variator, the weights are mounted externally rather than internally. It is an oversize variator designed for 50cc and 70cc racing engines. The tilting weights are easily accessible from the outside and screwed onto a retaining plate; a matching Allen wrench is included. Also included are 12 weights that can be used to adjust the variator as desired. We recommend using this variator together with a Doppler ER1 engine spring.
This variator cannot be used with the original clutch!
