PISTON PIN CIRCLIPS RAC.

Circlips

• 101 Octane gudgeon pin circlips
• Often overlooked, it`s a good idea to pay attention to your choice of gudgeon pin
• Even if the C-type clip is a little more fiddly than the G-type, tuners and tuning enthusiasts alike should be looking to the C-type clip
• If G-type clips are used too often they can break off at the "stub" thereby causing huge engine damage
• Often times it`s vibration that causes G-style clips to break up or there is play in the gudgeon pin that forces the mounting stub to shear
• The C-type can neither be loosened by the movement of the gudgeon pin, nor can it break
• 2x C-style clips included
• Ensure the circlip groove is completely clean prior to installation and that the clip sits securely in the groove
• We recommend installing the opening of the clip counter to the piston rotation
