Polini variator from the Maxi Hi-Speed series suitable for Yamaha X-Max 125 and Tech Max 125 Euro 5 vehicles built from 2021 onward.
The Polini Maxi Hi-Speed variator is one of the most powerful in the maxi scooter range. Attention was paid to the design of the polished roller tracks, which use the engine’s existing power band more optimally than the original variator. This means that the variator ratio changes at a speed range more favourable for torque. This results in increased acceleration and slightly higher top speed.
The Polini variator also stands out in terms of build quality and reliability. A sealed plain bearing with a precisely machined bearing bush significantly reduces friction and dirt ingress during sliding movement. Perfect shifting behaviour and long service life through reduced wear!
The back-pressure spring, 18% harder than the original spring, provides higher engine speed when starting.
The included 19x17mm - 8.2g variator rollers have a coating of nylon and aramid fibres.
Supplied as shown in the product picture with variator, pulley, sliders, a set of variator roller weights, variator sleeve and variator spring. Instructions are also included.
