The crankshaft bearing dummy is manufactured with such a precise fit and minimal undersize that it can be placed manually in the bearing seat or on shafts without heating or cold shock. This allows crankshafts, gearbox shafts, etc. to be mounted for test purposes. Bearing seats, the real ball bearings, shafts or the crankshaft are spared.

The dummy is an ideal tool to measure timing or also to check the timing angles of the crankshaft (rotary vane intake) and the cylinder (exhaust angle, overflow angle). Before or during complex conversion or milling work on the engine housing, the expensive components can be assembled and disassembled again in the shortest possible time without damage.
