Very often, the leather of a scooter seat tears, and during the next ride in the rain, the seat foam underneath becomes completely waterlogged. This greatly accelerates overall seat wear and makes the next ride extremely uncomfortable. The remedy is either the expensive original seat or a new seat cover.
After removing the defective cover, this one is stretched over the seat and stapled to the underside. The hand tacker required for this can be purchased very cheaply at any hardware store. The cover is supplied in carbon style. It has a braided structure, as known from surfaces upgraded with a carbon-look finish.
