The structure, dimensions and double-sided receptacles of the throttle cable are based on the original. However, this throttle cable features an inner PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sliding sleeve. The highly self-lubricating properties of PTFE allow a durable, very smooth sliding process without additional lubrication.
Never lubricate PTFE slides afterward, as lubricants cause the sliding material to swell and therefore have exactly the opposite effect.
