Decompression kit for the protection of the starter motor when the cylinder capacity is increased while continuing to use the original cylinder head.

With the use of a Big Bore cylinder, however, the compression ratio also increases if the original cylinder head is still used. The starting process of the engine with E-Start or Kick-Start is clearly made more difficult. We therefore recommend in any case the use of our decompression kits in order to conserve battery, starter motor and kick start mechanism.

This kit is suitable if your vehicle has the newer version of the Piaggio cylinder head (rocker arm with rollers). Mostly used from 2014.

Concerns the following vehicles, which under certain circumstances (at the earliest from the year of construction 2013) can be equipped with the new cylinder head (roller rocker arm). Before ordering, it is necessary to check which type of rocker arms is used in the vehicle:
