crankshaft bearing set Naraku SKF / FKM Premium C4 Polyamide for Peugeot horizontal

A set of high quality Naraku SKF crankshaft bearings incl. premium FKM shaft seals suitable for Peugeot vehicles with horizontal engine type, e.g. as installed in Peugeot Ludix 50, Ludix Blaster LC, Jetforce C-Tech, Jetforce TSDI und Looxor 50.

The bearing set includes one SKF crankshaft bearing each left and right with C4 bearing tolerance and two FKM crankshaft sealing rings. The polymer-plastic cage with higher elasticity reduces the inherent friction: the bearings run cooler and lighter. However, such bearings are more sensitive to improperly adjusted engines. The polyamide plastic cage must not be exposed to temperatures above 120°C on a permanent basis. For this reason, the bearings should not be mounted in engines with catalytic converters.

Please note! When changing the crankshaft, always use new bearings and oil seals!! Always install the half-open bearing side facing the crankshaft.

Behind the abbreviations or names mentioned is the identical basic material - fluororubber. FKM is the abbreviation for fluoroelastomers according to the American ASTM standard. Viton®, on the other hand, is a trademark of the company DuPont Performance Elastomers.
