Malossi reinforced counterpressure springs for rear Malossi variators on 125 and 150cc Suzuki maxi-scooters. Counterpressure springs keep the drive belt under tension, preventing slippage and increasing drive. Ideal for tuned engines with slipping belts. A direct replacement for the original.

Unfortunately, Malossi does not provide any indication of the percentage change compared with the OEM spring on maxi-scooters. However, Malossi specifies the spring stiffness (K) and spring length. Therefore, the springs can at least be compared with each other. In principle, the following applies to maxi-scooters:
1. green springs are softer than the OEM spring
2. all other springs are stiffer than the OEM spring
3. the higher the (K) value, the stiffer the spring
4. at the same (K) value, the longer spring is stiffer
