Reinforced sports counterpressure springs from Malossi for 125–180cc Piaggio 2-stroke engines. Increased rev range and acceleration. For use with the original variator or with tuning variators such as Malossi Multivar.
Unfortunately, Malossi does not provide any indication of the percentage change compared with the OEM spring on maxi scooters. However, Malossi indicates the spring stiffness (K) and the spring length. Thus, the springs can at least be compared with each other. In principle, the following applies to maxi scooters:
1. green springs are softer than the OEM spring
2. all other springs are stiffer than the OEM spring
3. the higher the (K) value, the stiffer the spring
4. at the same (K) value, the longer spring is stiffer
