AXP is proud to introduce lightweight, complete protection for the BMW R1250GS and R1250GSA with this adventure skid plate! Made from 8mm-thick HDPE polyethylene plastic, its total weight is only 2.7Kg; the hardware kit is included!

Innovative HDPE mounts, cut out to reduce weight, offer robust resistance and flexibility to absorb impacts, unlike alloy or stainless steel, which can bend. Polyethylene uniquely attenuates the noise caused by rocks or other debris hitting an alloy plate. Its flexibility absorbs heavy impacts and helps prevent the plate from being torn off, as can happen with alloy plates, while facilitating handling. This bash plate is supplied with a grey sticker and has been tested and approved after months of testing by BMW professional off-road instructors and riders. We guarantee compatibility with BMW OEM crash bars and center stand ONLY. Any other crash bars or center stand may require modifications, which are not guaranteed by AXP Racing.
