High-quality, cost-effective aftermarket piston from Italian piston specialists Meteor for original cylinders. The set contains a piston, gudgeon pin, piston rings and 2 gudgeon pin circlips. This piston has the same dimensions as the original item. To prolong the life of the engine and avoid expensive repair bills, the piston should be replaced when power starts to drop off or the engine begins to “knock”. This is generally every 5–10,000 km (approximately every 3–6,000 miles). Simply replace the old piston with the new one and everything is good again. It is advisable to order a new gasket set and small-end bearings when changing the piston.
