Jet Dellorto 5mm M5 49

The 5 mm jet fits most Dellorto carburetors. 12 mm–17.5 mm Dellorto and Motoforce carburetors use 6 mm jets. 19 mm–24 mm Dellorto carburetors use 5 mm jets. A larger jet is especially needed when installing a sport exhaust or a 70 cc cylinder kit. We recommend increasing the jet size by 10–15% when installing a larger exhaust or cylinder kit. If the spark plug is grey or even white, the mixture is too lean (a larger jet must be installed). Continuing to ride the vehicle in this condition may cause the engine to seize. If the spark plug is slightly reddish-brown, the mixture is ideal. If the spark plug is dark or even black, the mixture is too rich (a smaller jet must be installed).
