Castrol MTX 10W-40 is a mineral multigrade motorcycle transmission oil designed for the latest generation of on-road and off-road 2- and 4-stroke motorcycles. Castrol MTX 10W-40 provides reduced frictional characteristics for fast and easy gear changing, long clutch life and superior performance.
Castrol MTX 10W-40 is suitable for use in two- and four-stroke motorcycles with separate manually operated or automatic gearboxes, with or without a wet clutch. Castrol MTX 10W-40 should be used where a multigrade engine oil, e.g. SAE10W-30 or 10W-40, is recommended by the manufacturer.
