Schmitt Premium cables are manufactured true to the original in Austria: Absolutely accurate fit and handmade in the highest quality. Fast machine manufacturing processes to save costs are deliberately not used here.

The inner cables are made from special cable steel (and not from the today mostly used brittle stainless steel). Therefore, the Schmitt Premium cables do not break as quickly as those from mass production.

Schmitt cables for classic vehicles are manufactured in the same design as it was standard at the time of production of the vehicles. Thus, for all fans of classic vehicles, a cable true to the original is used here. Since an inner cable manufactured in the old way tends to rust, it is lubricated with an Interflon high-performance fluid grease for life.
