"Sportfreund" crankshaft from Schmitt with 44mm stroke and 85mm conrod suitable for Simson Moped / Mokick S51, S53, S70, S83, SR50, SR80, KR51/2 with M531, M541, M741 engine.

Here the standard is redefined! A crankshaft manufactured in the manufactory process, balanced & precisely manufactured with 44mm stroke and 85mm connecting rod designed for series to mid-range tuning engines. The reinforced press fit between the crank pin and the stroke disc makes the Schmitt crankshaft significantly stiffer and more speed resistant. The Schmitt crankshaft with reinforced connecting rod and silver-plated connecting rod bearing is noticeably smoother and more rev-happy. The guidance of the connecting rod is done via the lower connecting rod bearing with silver-plated thrust washers, the assembly of the fiddly shims on the piston pin is thus eliminated.

With this crankshaft, special attention is paid to the accuracy of fit from the ignition cone in the original ratio of 1:5. Thus, inaccuracies in the assembly of modern flywheels are no longer an issue. Concentricity deviation and bearing seat fit also meet the most modern measurement and manufacturing standards and are not comparable with crankshafts from large series or Asian manufacturing.
