Latest variator technology from Polini. Specially tuned for standard 50cc engines, this variator develops noticeably better acceleration and slightly more top speed using all the supplied components. Power transmission is much more direct, also thanks to the Polini "Evo-Slider", a friction-minimizing plastic pad for the variator spring, which makes the converter assembly easier to shift.
If the scooter engine is not tuned, the variator simply needs to be mounted with all components. According to Polini, no further tuning is necessary. Of course, due to the newly designed roller tracks, the variator is also a very good choice for tuned vehicles. However, adjustment of the variator weights to the appropriate power RPM level is then necessary.
Included in delivery: Hi-Speed variator complete with sleeve, tuned reinforced variator spring (20kg) with Evo slider, as well as 1 set of variator roller weights 19x15,5 with 5,3g. Polini clutch springs and a special electronic module, which raises the final speed of the vehicle, are included. The assembly instructions are located below the plastic insert in the packaging.
