The Polini Max Hi-Speed is one of the best-drivable variators available for Maxi Scooters. Special attention has been paid to the build quality, which makes better use of the belt than the original variator. This means that the variator ratio changes in low-torque situations. The result is improved acceleration and higher top speed. Both reliability and build quality are markedly improved over the original. A sealed slider bearing with precisely machined bearing bushes greatly reduces friction and the buildup of grime during sliding.
