The USB-C port on the microphone adapter is for charging only. It cannot be used for data transfer.

You can use the microphone adapter to connect a timecode microphone. After recording, the timecode is displayed in the preview on the camera album page and in other editing software.

The microphone adapter is not waterproof. Do not use it underwater or in high humidity. Avoid charging the camera with the microphone adapter on rainy days or in damp conditions.

Avoid using the microphone adapter during high-intensity sports or activities with strong vibrations to prevent it from coming loose.

When cycling or riding a motorcycle, it is best to use the microphone adapter only on smooth roads. Avoid speed bumps, stairs, gravel and other rough surfaces to prevent the microphone adapter from loosening.

After using the microphone adapter, reattach the USB cover and make sure it is securely fastened to ensure water resistance.
