Protector care and maintenance: store the garment hanging in a dry, ventilated place away from sunlight, direct heat sources and chemicals. Inspect the protectors at least once a year and replace worn or damaged protectors immediately. Replace protectors every 5 years regardless of condition and immediately after a traffic accident. Remove protectors before washing. Protectors may only be cleaned by hand.
