However, the low-profile Part 455 is barely noticeable and lighter and more flexible than previous models, ensuring a clean, minimalist garment aesthetic. The low-profile 6 mm protector is 60% thinner than previous models, providing better and more consistent Level 1 results across the entire protector surface. All-day comfort is ensured by soft beveled edges and radically improved ventilation. Can be combined with either the smaller Part 432 Type A knee protector or the Part 453 Type B knee protector. PROTECTOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE Storage: Keep protectors hanging in a dry, ventilated place, away from sunlight and direct heat sources. Do not leave them on the floor or under heavy objects, as this may cause deformation, tearing or other damage. Do not fold the jacket with the protector inside or fold the protector in half, as this may damage it. Keep away from chemicals that may damage the material and cause it to lose its protective properties. Maintenance: Protectors and their fastenings should be regularly checked for visible signs of wear, at least once a year. If the protectors are worn or damaged, or if there are any doubts about their condition, they must be replaced immediately. It is recommended to replace protectors every 5 years, regardless of their condition. Protectors should be replaced immediately after every traffic accident. Care during washing: Carefully remove the protectors from the jacket or trousers before washing. Protectors may only be cleaned by hand.
