Back protector Knox Micro-lock Air MK2

Knox Micro-Lock is the most compact protector in the Knox range. Thanks to its unique properties, it can be worn all day. The Micro-Lock Air back protector adapts to the body using SMART technology. It is very soft during use but hardens on impact, allowing it to absorb most of the impact energy and reducing the energy transferred directly to the back.

The Micro-Lock Air Back Protector Mk2 has a new shape and updated appearance. Fitting is more comfortable and safety is improved thanks to the advanced double waist-strap system and redesigned removable, washable outer cover.

CE-certified motorcycle back protector to EN1621-2:2014, Level 2. The British-made spacer fabric complements the air channels, enabling multidirectional airflow for maximum comfort and ventilation. The adjustable double waist system ensures a secure fit and correct positioning of the additional kidney protector.

The CE-certified Knox Micro-Lock chest protector can be attached to the easily removable soft shoulder straps, which can be crossed for added comfort. Micro-Lock Air Mk2 is available in two sizes: S and L.

Knox Micro-Lock MK 2 is CE certified to the latest EN 1621-2:2014 Level 2 standard for back protectors. It passes tests at high and low temperatures from -20C to +40C, making it suitable for motorcycling, cycling, skiing and snowboarding.

Technical data sheet verification, user information verification, size range verification, minimum protective zone, performance under environmental conditions, performance under hydrolytic conditions, ergonomic assessment, product marking and safety requirements. Micro-Lock Air MK2 has also passed voluntary high- and low-temperature tests.

PROTECTOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Storage: Keep protectors hanging in a dry, ventilated place away from sunlight and direct heat sources. Do not leave them on the floor or under heavy objects, as this may cause deformation, tearing or other damage. Do not fold the jacket with the protector inside or fold the protector in half. Keep away from chemicals that may damage the material and reduce its protective properties.

Maintenance: Inspect protectors and their fastenings regularly, at least once a year, for visible signs of wear. Replace protectors immediately if they are worn or damaged or if there is any doubt about their condition. It is recommended to replace protectors every 5 years regardless of their condition. Protectors should be replaced immediately after every road accident.

Washing care: Carefully remove protectors from the jacket or trousers before washing. Protectors may only be cleaned by hand.
