Thermographic studies conducted with researchers from the University of Padua show the thermal insulation benefits of using the Thorax Warrior. Using the chest protector significantly increases thermal insulation.

Test results: a 3-layer jacket with a chest protector increased thermal insulation by 11.5%; a 3-layer jacket equipped with the Thorax Warrior increased thermal insulation by 15%.

The Thorax Warrior can be used with all Spidi jackets that have provision for installing a standard chest protector. Alternatively, the Thorax Warrior can be used with a harness.
