Anti-fog film FOGCITY EASY Fullface Small FCE001 – small, universal for full-face helmet v

FOGCITY EASY Fullface Small is an anti-fog film installed on the inside of a helmet lens/visor. The EASY series allows it to be installed on practically any glass. Installation is simple: just adhere the film to the glass. Thanks to the highest-quality film and good edge sealing, moisture from exhaled air does not reach the glass, effectively preventing fogging.

How does FogCity® EASY anti-fog film work?
The film is made from a high-quality material with moisture-absorbing properties. The mechanism is simple – it works like a sponge and therefore prevents fogging on the helmet visor.

ANTI-FOG FOGCITY® INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:
Close the helmet visor and press it as tightly as possible (picture A).

Step 2: Apply adhesive tape to the centre of the visor from the outside. Mark the planned upper edge of the film and the exact centre of the visor on the attached tape. Use a fine-liner or marker that does not stick to the tape or leave marks on the coated visor beneath it (picture B). Position the upper edge of the film at a height where it will not rub against the seal when the visor is opened and closed.

Step 3: Remove the visor from the helmet – follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your helmet model to avoid damaging it.
Then make sure that the inside of the visor is properly cleaned. Remember that dirt and even the smallest particles of dust will remain under the installed film for its entire service life.

Step 4: Peel the FogCity® film from the protective transport film. Gently fold the anti-fog film into a U shape. Hold the film by its edge without touching the adhesive surface. During this step, direct the self-adhesive side of the film toward the visor on which it will be installed (picture D).

Step 5: Centre the film using the tape previously attached to the marked centre of the visor and the slight V-shaped indentation in the centre of the film (picture E). The upper edge of the film should not extend above the maximum height of the anti-fog protection marked on the tape.

Step 6: Start by placing the upper and lower edges of the film in the centre of the visor. Then gently spread the film outward over the remaining part of the visor – do not press on the film. Make sure that the film is centred as in the previous step and that the entire adhesive edge is in contact with the visor. If the self-adhesive edge fails to stick to the glass at any point, carefully lift the left or right end of the film and place it on the glass again so that the self-adhesive strip adheres to the glass along its entire length.

Step 7: Once the film has been placed in the correct position on the glass, gently press it along its edges, starting from the centre and moving left and right.

Step 8: Remove the tape from the outside of the visor on which you marked the centre of the visor and the upper edge of the film. Reinstall the helmet visor, following the helmet manufacturer’s instructions. After installation, make sure that you can open and close the helmet visor properly and freely. For the best effect, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before using the helmet again so that the adhesive securing the film can cure.

CLEANING: The FogCity film and helmet visor should only be cleaned with very mild liquids, preferably lukewarm water and a soft, gentle damp cloth. Allow both elements to dry naturally before using the helmet again. DO NOT USE MATERIALS FOR CLEANING THAT MAY SCRATCH THE GLASS OR FILM.

IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the FogCity® film and the upper seal of the helmet windscreen, leave sufficient distance between the film and the upper edge of the windscreen. Ideally, the minimum distance between the film and the upper edge of the visor depends on the specific helmet model. Do not press the centre surface of the film against the visor – an air cushion should remain between the film and the glass. Only the outer self-adhesive edge may be pressed.
